June Rabbit Rabbit

I can't believe it's already June! We have a tradition to say "rabbit rabbit" the first day of every month. If those are your first words at the beginning of each month, your month will be full of good luck. I've shared that tradition with a lots of friends and I'll get "rabbit rabbit" texts the first of each month from old mission companions, roommates, and family members.

June is a big month so we'll take any extra luck we can get. In 18 days we'll know what team Justin will get to play for & where we'll be moving to. Until then, we're holding tight to see what comes next & enjoying being with our family.

We left Oklahoma to come to Utah for a few weeks before the Draft. I love the mountains & it's been so good to be home in Santaquin. Justin had an ankle sprain while working out in Brooklyn so we got him into some PT before the next round of workouts begin. We took the scenic route home past the Payson Temple after one of those PT visits.

So many good memories there. From hearing the announcement of the temple, to the groundbreaking, cultural celebration, watching the Angel Moroni be placed at the top, the dedication inside, to many sweet experiences remembering and making covenants with God, this is one of my favorite places. I'm lucky to share good memories there too with Justin. <3

Dad brought the boat out of its winter home & we got it all tested and ready for James to come home (!!).

Boating too, brings back good memories. Lake Powell trips with cousins. Tubing stories that make me sore just thinking about them. Good country playlists. Lots of quality time with quality people. I'm excited for more of that this summer & we're so excited for James to be home and a part of it!

Santaquin welcomed us back with a beautiful sunset & I'm so happy to be here. Time is passing so fast and we're taking advantage of this stage that we have to be with family.
