This concert had been on my bucket list & I was so excited when we got our tickets. The string quartet performs in a beautiful cathedral surrounded by candles. We bought tickets for the Ed Sheeran & Coldplay performance.
Justin was in Spain for basketball and was supposed to get home earlier in the day. Travel plans changed and we said lots of prayers that we would still make our date night!
After sprinting from the airport to his train, I picked him up at the train stop with dinner in the car. We hurried to the cathedral & caught our breath when we walked inside.
The environment was peaceful, cozy, & warm. The music was beautiful. I love string instruments & hearing them play some of our favorite songs in that German cathedral with my best friend is a memory I'll always remember.
