On the nights Justin has home games, I don't say anything to Logan about going to the games until it's time to put our shoes on. Otherwise, he'll stand at the door begging to go to Dada's game.
Once there, Logan walks around like he owns the place. Knows what doors to go through, what numbers to push on the elevator, and right where Emery's stroller goes in the VIP room.
There is no happier kid in the world than Logan Bean at the Uber Arena watching his dad play basketball.
On this particular night, Logan had walked ahead of me as I was putting Emery in the baby carrier. When I rounded the corner, he was sprawled on the ground, lying on his back with his arms in the air. A lady ran over to help him and Logan gave her a confused look as he got up off the ground.
I explained to her that he randomly falls on the ground like he's been fouled until someone helps him up.
Logan was in heaven when Elder and Sister Stephens (from Logan, UT) came to a game. He got some yummy treats and new toys from them. They were also a huge help during the game to me. I'm so grateful for them.
This is the moment Logan waits for the whole night. Multiple times during every game you can hear him say quietly, "Give Dada high five."
You can also hear him say not so quietly during the game, "Justin Beeeean! My dad!"
These are the days. <3 Trying to hold on and appreciate everything while it's happening.
