In a few days, everything about our life and routine is about to change in the best way. <3 So I thought I better document the good stuff we've been up to as of late.
We LOVE having Justin home more often. Instead of traveling every week for multiple days, we go 10-13 day stretches of having him in Berlin with us.
These two have gotten some extra play time together. We love having best friends live below us!
Lots of fun games spent in the Uber Arena. Alba is on a nine-game win streak!!! It's been so fun to see this new team come together and do so well. Every day, Logan asks if we're going to Dada's game or if we're watching it on the TV. He's a big fan of either option.
When we're at the games, Logan loves to give all of the players high fives and "cheer loud".
When we're watching from home, his shirt is off and he's constantly running from watching the game, to shooting baskets in his own little hoop.
Without any encouragement of our own, Logan's favorite thing to do is play basketball.
Dr. Hundt, Logan's pediatrician, whose son also plays for Alba. One of the nicest people we know!
Lots of baking! It's either muffins, hootnanny, or pancakes for breakfast and Logan is always on his stool ready to dump in the ingredients and smell the "yummy" vanilla.
Walking through the pretty fall leaves to his 2-year-old check up.
Instead of saying "hi" to Grandpa Rowley when we call, the "backhoe" and "tractor" are usually requested.
Lunch with Timna! She brought the yummiest Portuguese pastries. I have to go and find them now before Dad gets here so he can try them.
This is how we get our groceries inside. :')
Unloading from our car into two strollers, walking through a parking garage to an elevator. Going outside and into a different apartment and up another elevator before carrying them into our kitchen. Quite the process and I can't wait to have a garage one day! But I know we'll miss these memories too.
Our ward is a missionary hub right now! So much missionary work and baptisms going on. In the last 10 months, we've had over 40 baptisms. This means we get to meet lots of amazing missionaries. The Stephens are from Logan, UT. Our little Logan loves them. Maybe we'll be neighbors one day!
The first thing Logan asks to do when he wakes up in the morning is read a book. Usually his tractor books.
More basketball!! I'm so glad Logan loves the games. The last two years looked very different and were filled with me mostly watching and trying to help Logan instead of Justin.
& soaking up more time with our ward family. So thankful for these people who truly do feel like family. I hope we can replicate the relationships we have here in Berlin with future friends and ward members.
Logan loved hanging out with the older boys & they were all so sweet to play with him.
