We had a few hours in Logan before heading up to Bear Lake for the week!! I love USU campus so much. Logan walked the campus, quad, book store, and ate his first lemon custard Aggie ice cream.
Forever grateful for the memories Justin and I have here together.
Our Bear Lake family reunion is one of my favorite weeks of the year. I LOVE Bear Lake. We didn't even go on the water this year, but just being in that place, surrounded by the mountains, water, cutest lake town, and people we love, feels like heaven.
We had a mini reunion of our own when we ran into Dave, Jessie, & Sybil at a construction stop!
Four generations! We spent most of the time outside watching the kids play in the rocks, sidewalk chalk, hammering nails in tree stumps, 9 square, and just talking on the grass. The best quality time catching up.
Took a morning bike ride together while everyone was still asleep. Morning, before the day really gets going, is my favorite part of the day easily. It was quiet except for the occasional runner we passed.
Daily pickleball with everyone!
Sharing memories about Granny Ruby Lee. <3
Cute, cute, cute kids!!
Logan, Wesley, Theo, Porter, Kaden, Olivia, Emery, Nora, Everett
One of the many highlights was our nightly karaoke. Just about everyone did their own performance over the course of the reunion. Dave was the best MC and it was sooo much fun to sing and laugh with everyone. Some of those routines got pretty crazy!
So thankful for this family of mine. Everyone LOVES each other. Never any drama or contention. I think that's pretty amazing and takes effort & love on everyone's part.
We said goodbye to everyone for the day & went back to Santaquin. Sarah's farewell was the next morning so it was just a "see you later".
Sarah mentioned the reunion in her talk & how it felt like heaven being together for the week. I have to agree. It seriously is one of my favorite weeks of the year. Thankful to GG Wag for making it possible & keeping this family they've raised together so close.
