The In Between Moments of Summers in Santaquin

These are allllll of the in-between moments I want to remember from our Santaquin summer. It was perfect, we made the best memories, and it went by way to fast.

Getting Logan adjusted to the time change & helping him stretch his legs after that long flight! He was pretty timid when it came to the trampoline until our last week. Then all he wanted was for Andrew to be out there with him, jumping on it.

Visiting Courtlyn & Gracie on the nights they had weddings at the venue.

Morning walks around the block with anyone who was awake when Logan was.

Going to church every week together as a family!

Always having an aunt or uncle to do something with.

Or Gigi :)

"Smile for Uncle Andrew", while Andrew was at FSY.

The moment Uncle Andrew got home from FSY! Logan was going crazy. And after that, every time Andrew came home from work, Logan was his happiest, hyper self.

Baby shower for Gracie & baby girl!

There were a few times in Berlin I was CRAVING Zupas. We got our fill while we were home.

Spontaneous Father's Day truck clean & choreographed dance when Dad & Mom came home from their date.

Sunday dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's

Play dates with cousins <3

Our own RowFam reunion in Hurricane. Another favorite week of the year. This was our third year going to the same place. Pool, pickle ball, candy, games, repeat! It was so fun & I love that uninterrupted time we have together.

Mornings pulling weeds, watching the garbage truck, construction workers, and saying "biiiiig truck!" over and over.

We went up to Idaho Falls to see Grandma Hart and the Hart family.

Lots of time spent on the lake. Logan loved being on the boat. Especially sitting on Grandpa's lap and pushing the horn.

Watching Mom play in her matches.

Wimbledon on every morning.

We took Logan to the All Abilities park in Spanish Fork. He LOVED it. This is where he first learned to climb up the playground ladders.

Family temple trips <3

Hiking the trails behind our house.

Bee's Game thanks to Justin's friend, Ryan!

Moving his tractors around the house allll day long. These were his favorite toy.

Then came the weekend of "lasts". Last Sunday together. Last time seeing Grandpa and Grandma Wagner <3 I just didn't dwell on it because I would get really sad thinking about Logan not seeing all of these people every day.

Logan's other favorite things at Gigi and Grandpa's house were the swing, trampoline, and bubbles on the back patio. We called Mom yesterday and she went and sat out on the patio. Logan started saying "bubbles" repeatedly and got a little frustrated when she didn't blow any haha.

Tradition! Now that we've done it two times ;) Hiking the Grotto.

Courtlyn woke up early with me on our last morning and we did initiatories. This temple is one of my FAVORITE places on earth. It was a good start to our day & I'm grateful I could be there with her.

Those end of summer goodbyes are probably the worst goodbyes we give all year long. They make me question what the heck we are doing living in Germany. Then we come back to Berlin & I realize and remember we're where we need to be for now.

& while FaceTime isn't quite the same, it's such a blessing to be a few taps away from the voices and faces of those we love. <3
