We left Florence and drove west, passing sunflower field after field until we got to Pisa!! It's a pretty cute town.
The majority of the tour buses hadn't arrived for the day so it was nice and calm walking through the vendors inside the walls. The sun was out and it felt like the perfect fall day!
Inside the walls are three buildings - the baptistry, cathedral, & leaning tower (or bell tower).
These sellers were scattered everywhere throughout the entrance. Cute wooden letter trains. :') Mom bought one for Logan.
There she is! The tower leans a little bit each year and will eventually fall. Good thing Mom was there to hold it up. It was actually quite hilarious. We took a video as we were leaving the square of the tens of people all posing in different spots along the walkway holding up the tower.
My favorites!! Still can't believe I got to see it with them. <3
The food options were pizza and pasta, or Subway. I bet you can guess where we went. ;) More pizza, pasta, and gelato for us!!
We happened to sit by a nice couple from... Provo, UT! What a small world.
Stopped at another small Pam before heading out for Cinque Terre. Thanks for the memories, Pisa!
